Pours a chestnut amber colour with a small off white head. Aroma is malty with some light roasted notes and fruit. A sweet caramel malty taste, boiled fruity sweets, with a decent hop bitterness and some more sweetness in the finish.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. A chestnut pour with a thick cream head; aroma of summer fruit; immediate English hop bitterness, with a dry berry fruit taste; and a lingering bitter finish. Rather good.

Cask ale, half-pint at Leeds Station Wetherspoons (JDW). Low off-white head, spotty lacing, clear copper coloured body. Slightly roasted caramel nose. Taste of dark caramel, nuts and a bit of earth. Mid-dry, roasted ending. Satisfying. (Meet-up with Man VsBeer 06.07.2017).

Clear, copper colored, medium off white head, good lasting. Aroma is of malt, biscuit, fruity, apple. Taste is medium sweet malt, biscuit, some fruity notes, apple, bit floral hops, medium-light bitterness. Medium- bodied, soft carbonation. Nice Tank but a boring bitter. Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Sweet floral honey aroma. Light brown. Thin white head. A hint of sourness gives way to a malty tang, with sweet undertones. Light bodied. Watery but revived by soft carbonation. Long finish. Enjoyable. Refreshing, if not memorable.
