Description
Le Soupir is a microbrewery specializing in mixed-fermentation and barrel-aged beers. Our goal is to offer modern and innovative beers while drawing inspiration from European brewing heritage and its tradition of wood fermentation. These beers are complex, lively, and easy to drink, crafted in small batches throughout the seasons!

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Brett, wood, white wine. Taste: A refreshing mix of funky and bit leathery Brett, oak wood, fruity white wine and white berries and subtle herbal / spicy notes. Moderate tartness. Light hopbitterness. Hints of vanilla. Medium body, just below average carbonation.

Bottle from crowdfunding pack. Color: Hazy pale golden, ehite head. Aroma: Earthy, fruity apricot. Taste: Fruity rhubarb, apricot. Some spicy Saison yeast. Just below medium body, just below average carbonation. Moderate sweet, some light bitterness and light tartness.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, fruity tartness. Taste: Moderate tartness, fruity notes of lime, white grape, sweetish apple, combined with a nice amount of floral hopbitterness. Starting more to the fruity tart side and finishing more to the hoppy side. Medium body, just below average carbonation.

Bottle from crowdfunding pack. Color: Hazy pale golden, fast disappearing white head. Aroma: Floral, some tartness, hints of peat. Taste: Overwhelming pepper, some fruity lemon tartness, floral / herbal notes and peated Whisky. Bit burning peppery mouthfeel. Just below.medium body, low carbonation. Light to moderate tartness, very light bitterness Nice unusual experiment, but not my kond of beer in this case.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange amber, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, floral, Brett funk. Taste: Hoppy, floral and spicy hop notes, Brett, subtle citrus fruit, hints of bread. Light sourness, over moderate going towards medium bitterness at the dry funky finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Very nice stock IPA.

Bottle, directly from Le Soupir. Color: Lightly hazy pale golden, frothy white head. Aroma: Spicy, floral, some fruity tartness. Malty and hoppy at the same time. Taste: Complex mix of crisp malt, fruity (stone fruit, citrus) tartness, floral hop, subtle spicy Saison notes, some oak wood. Dry, fruity and bittery finish. Moderate tart and bitter. Just below medium body, below average carbonation. Very nice complexity.

Taste: Refreshing, wheat malt, lemon notes, floral tea notes, some funk and wood. Just below medium body, just below average carbonation. Light to moderate tartness, very light sweetness. Dry-ish, earthy finish. Nice one.

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Subtle fruity and funky. Taste: Earthy, fruity notes of rhubarb and some grape, subtle funk and wood. Crisp. Dry-ish and more bittery finish. Just below medium body, just below average carbonation. Light to moderate tart and bitter. Light sweetness. Bonus point for the complexity of this relatively low alcoholic beer.
