Bouteille 750ml. De couleur brune-rouge et voilée. Nez de levures fruitées (prunes, léger de figues, notes de raisins vineux, traces de mûres), d’épices (notes de clou de girofle et de coriandre, traces de cannelle), malté de caramel sucré et léger de sucre brun, moyen-léger d’alcool sucré avec des notes de houblon herbeux. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture moyennement crémeuse. Goût de levures fruitées sucrées (prunes, moyen de figues, notes de raisins aux notes vineuses, traces de mûres et de cerises) accompagné d’un moyen goût épicé (note de coriandre, traces de clou de girofle et de cannelle) et de traces de réglisse noire lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel avec un moyen goût de sucre brun (traces de sucre bonbon). Parallèlement, l’on retrouve un goût réchauffant d’alcool doux jusqu’en finale accompagné d’une légère amertume de houblon herbeux ainsi que de traces d’épices (poivre très doux). Post-goût moyen-long et aux notes sèches, moyennement amer d’alcool avec des notes de houblon herbeux ainsi qu’avec un goût fruité (pelures de prunes, notes de moût de raisins).

0.75 l bottle from beershop.hr. It poured a murky orange, brownish toned body with huge head. Lot of yeast particles, even in part poured from bottle’s top. Interesting aroma, not particularly strong or typical cloying, rather hoppy, herbal, salty, possible some american hops, with quite strange malt background. Orange or citrus fruity flavor with some malts besides. Some honey, even caramel here. Pretty full bodied, with long, bitterish and slightly sweetly cloying finish. Very nice wit and definitely different.

Bottle.Dark muddy reddish colour with small head.Aroma of rosted malt,dark dreid berries plum and spices,nice full body and warming mouth feels.Well balance and great finish.

Glowing amber-brown with tons of floaties. Big, fragrant, sweet and fruity aroma with caramel and honey and a slight tart edge. Rich, smooth honey-like flavor, with deep caramel, spices, and lots of dark fruits. Rather sweet for me, but rich and complex malt, balanced by alcohol. Nice but not one of their best.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy copper with a ton of yeast flakes with a lot of carbonation and a medium frothy off white head that quickly diminishes like a soda. The aroma is dried fruit, peach, raisin and light malt. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is a bitter fruit with caramel and licorice with a spicy finish. Easy to drink while hiding the alcohol very well. A good belgian strong ale from Brasserie.

Hazy blond with tight disc of foam on top. Low carbonation. Quite a soft, sweet flavour with only a little citrus coming through in the finish.

Bottle: Ruddy brown, smaller creamy beige head, lots of UFO’s detectable; solid sweet caramelly nose with a distinctive touch of coriander and with some vinous illusions; moderate to solid sweet flavour, medium bodied; warming alcohol in the sweet-caramelly finish. Pretty overrated sweety............

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Dark reddish amber brown colour, off-white head. Big ugly floaties after the second pour. Sweet aroma of christmas cake, caramel, spice, fruits, cognac, very complex and interesting. Flavour is sweet, caramel and malts, fruits and christmas spices, but not nearly as complex as the nose. Lots of carbonation, but not aggressive. Medium to fullbodied. A very nice tasting beer. Good stuff.

750 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Pours brown-red. Fruity fresh aroma. Complex taste, vinous, fruit and spice. I think it could have had a little bit bigger body.
