I have a 11.2 oz bottle of Triple Imperiale delivered to me by Belgiuminabox. Most appreciated, don’t know how I would sample many of these beers otherwise. Tonight the brew is going into my Straffe Hendrik large snifter. The body is a dense caramel finished by a healthy array of fine, light tan bubbles. The scent is a delight, dates, alfalfa and baked bread. And the taste, only better. I get caramel, wheat toast, semisweet chocolate, black raisins, strawberry jam, where do I stop? Creamy and thick. Very Pannepot-like. I’m enjoying this.

Bottle from Sugaya. Dark golden brown colour, small golden bubbly head. Aroma is sweet and boozy, bit fruity, plums maybe, apples. Taste is nice, apples again, spicy, gingerbread, yeasty, marzipan. Bit sticky, golden syrup. Pretty nice. Fair bit of sediment.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, reddish mahogany colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Yeasty fruity, minimally leafy, and sweet-ish, caramel malty aroma, hints of toffee, caramel, red berries, some dried fruit, raisin, plum. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty and yeasty fruity, hints of nougat, toffee, caramel, dried fruit, raisin, plum, hints of red berries and cherry as well. Widely well hidden alcohol, a warming touch not until the finish. Relatively light body, surprisingly drinkable, not too sugary. Good.

hazy golden to orange colour, large, dense white head; aroma and taste of grains/malts, fruity (mainly apricot) and floral honey notes, Belgian yeast and...well, in fact I'm always in trouble to describe these kind of Belgian ales (pale trough pale Belgian strong ales to tripels) - they are just good as they are - and that's it; if you have too much about them to describe, that's more an issue than an advantage/con

Foams like a mad dog. Flowery hoparoma with caramel. Sweet, perfumed flavor with caramel, raisin, citrus, prunes and mango. Thick, almost oily. Hoppy aftertaste.

Aroma has anis, orange and peach. Fairly hopbitter and very fruity flavor. In fact lots of tropical fruit, anis and vanilla. Some tartness. The alcohol can be noticed, but is not too apparent. Lovely, high quality beer that will probably suit most beer drinkers.

Aroma has yeast, chalk and citrus. Honeyish flavor with citrus, chalk and some butter. There is just an acidic edge in this beer.

Strong grapes aroma, just a bit yeasty and chalky. Herbal, yeasty flavor with curacao. Just a bit of banana. The aroma is good, the flavor disappoints because the herbal yeastiness dominates.

Great beer, but not worth the top 50 position IMO. Dutch Ratebeer meeting, 1 1/2 litre bottle. Chunks of yeast floating. Orange liquor aroma. Malty, alcoholic flavor . Orange, peppery and a hint of chocolate. A bit too much of everything to earn a top rating. In der Beschränkung zeigt sich der Meister (in the limitation the real master comes up).

Golden color with some orange tones, a bit hazy. Frothy head. Flowery aroma with peach. Good lacing. Sweet apricot flavor with honey and orange. Some fairly well hidden alcohol. A bit too sweet and not very complex, but a nice fruity strong beer.
