Clear deep orange beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, UK hop profile, bit spicy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malts, very spicy, ginger, weird touch. Aftertaste: more of the same. No brewing mistakes or anything, but a very weird flavour profile.

Clear deep amber alce, creamy beige head, very stable, adhesive. Aroma: malty, hay, bit nutty, cow fodder, grains, German touch. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, grains, hay, cow fodder, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: hay, grains, cow fodder, bitter, dry, some banana peel.

Dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive. aroma: vanilla, lots of chocolate, bit sweet, cocoa powder, caramel, mocha, sweet malts. MF: ok carbon, full body, creamy texture. Taste: peated, bit sweet, caramel, bitter hops, very roasted, dark chocolate. Aftertaste: alcohol, mocha, cocoa powder, bitter, very roasted, dry and hoppy. Very nice beer!

Clear dark orange to amber beer, creamy off-white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: caramel, nutty, chestnuts, bit sweet. MF: ok carbon, full body, creamy texture. Taste: very malty, lots of caramel, bit sweet, alcohol, sugary, some dried fruits, raisins. Aftertaste: bitter hops, caramel, bit medicinal, malty, little sourish, hoppy ending.

Borefts. Clear brown with nice creamy beige head. Some chocolate, sweet malts, brown sugar and dried red fruits. Really nice creamy mouthfeel. Nothing special but love the mouthfeel.

Had this at Borefts BF, Bodegraven, Netherlands, Friday 26th September 2014. Plenty if oomph from this, a heavy bittersweet body, the bitterness is there but steady rather than out there. Lovely almost barleywine mouthfeel,a little warm sugar on nose. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9
