Tap. Cloudy gold, fluffy white head. Tropical sherbet aroma with some crackers. Dryish and cleaner than guessed with peach, passionfruit, pineapple, pepper. A little resin towards the moderately bitter end. Nicely done, refreshing.

Bottled. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, some nuts, mild toasted notes as well as some toffee and mild fudge. Flavour is very similar, but also has some slight floral and mild ripe fruity ntoes to it. Pleasant surprise.

Bottled. Black colour with a small but longlasting beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, mild roasted notes, some berries, mild figs and a wee bit of alcohol. Flavour is very similar, but the alcohol is a bit more mellowly weaved into the rest of the elements. Sweet aftertaste.

Can. Clear deep reddish amber with an off-white head. Fat toffee malty aroma with a floaty mix of citrus and pine needles above. Short of syrupy. Big rich malt that is neither swept away by the hops nor allowed to linger too long - this is a balancing act that IMHO few hoppy ambers of any strength achieve. Resin helps things seem to dry out towards the bitter end. Pretty strong for what it offers but/ and the alcohol doesn't stick out at all. Not totally my sort of thing but a good beer.

Can Hazy gold with a lasting white cap. Aroma of peach, apricot, orange peel, some passionfruit. Medium bodied. Bittersweet with lots of citrus, some resin builds towards the quite bitter finish. A bit of booze at the end too. Assertive and good.
