473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is full of bright, fresh grapefruit upfront, with a touch of lacto. Flavour delivers a monolothic pucker of tart grapefruit, with a fair bit of lacto detectable underneath. Simple, but pleasant citrusy beer. Surprisingly solid.

Intense bright grapefruit. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Soured grapefruit and some soft grains. Smells right but falls down a bit in the taste.

Golden colour. Lots of grapefruit on the nose - pretty assertive. On the palate, mild tartness, lots of grapefruit. On the sweet side, but it's a nice flavour so it comes across as balanced. Fairly light body. Arguably, this is made for people who don't like beer that much, I mean it's close to being a radler, but it's also tasty if you like grapefruit.

Raw woody and boozy roast. Jet brown with a decent light brown head. Caramel, treacle and cocoa.

Dark brown. Not much head. There's a little bit of toffee on the nose, light chocolate, and a fair bit of bourbony barrel stuff. A balanced alcohol and chocolate character. Lightish body, some alcohol in the finish with a fairly pronounced bourbon note. It's not bad - certainly nothing special, but it's perfectly drinkable.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out lots wood, with a touch of bourbon, light vanilla, and a touch of roasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with rich bourbon, some wood, gentle vanilla, and very soft roasted malt. Not overly rich or complex, but the flavours are well-integrated. Very solid.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Odi. Clear golden. Stale hops, malt, caramel, sweet, bitter finish, some alcohol. Harsh.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour, no head. Aroma of lactic acid. Nice blend of acidity and sweetness, with lingering fruit, more stone fruit than passion fruit; moderate salt too.
Simple but enjoyable.

Tall can from Legacy. Appearance: a bit hazy blonde with a white head Aroma: malty, crispy with some sweetness Taste: Similar, but with some a bit strange floral notes on the back. Very dry aftertaste Body: medium Overall: Tastes like described. It is not, of course, that elegant and tasty like DeuS, but enough drinkable and pleasant.
