Dark brown, medium head. Smells more like Irish stout, that light roast, bit of fruitiness. Similar palate. Slightly creamy body, lowish bitterness so more like Murphy’s or Beamish, but I am still getting those Irish vibes. Maybe some caramel in the finish where I’d rather see hop but it’s got decent balance.

473ml can. Pours a hazy orange gold with a small, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, orange and floral hops. Sweet flavour of biscuity pale malt, grapefruit and pine resin in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a slick texture and average carbonation. Pretty solid.

473ml can. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Aroma of grainy wheat malt, vanilla, funky Lacto and light orange. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, orange, vanilla and floral hops in a dry, tart Lacto finish. Light body with a sticky texture and average carbonation. Too sweet for me and could use less vanilla.

650 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of soapy toasted malts, candied orange and subtle dried fruit. Flavors of bread crusts, dry oaky whisky and again just a bit of dried fruit. Quite bitter overall. Reminds me of a weak Innis & Gunn BA.

Murky, medium head. Light sugar. Vague continental hops. It does come across okay for a non-alc. But it also comes across as a coastal BC forest in winter...it's cool and all but obviously it'll be better in summer.

Super hazy golden and pale straw coloured body with a pretty thick, three to four centimetre tall slightly soapy off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of sugars with some lactose, apricots, stone fruits and subtle citrus fruit notes with some noticeable bitterness from the alpha acids in the hops and a seemingly nice layer of malt to support. Medium to Full-bodied; Pretty deep and pungent bitterness that hits from the hops with a noticeable citrus bite, some grapefruit and lemons with a good balance of deeper malts that have some bite, too along with a nice touch of alcohol and warmth. Aftertaste is pretty rich, with a good kick of fruits here that go well with the rich and noticeable hops and associated alpha acid bitterness, balanced well with a good layer of sweetness and alcohol. Overall, a surprisingly good beer that was much more old school than new school, with a hazy look, but still bitter, deep and pungent flavour that shows some Imperial Status despite being pretty 'normal' in alcohol! Great to try from British Columbia and recommended if you can find it, even to cart this thing back across Canada and the USA like I did! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Broadway Liqour in South Vancouver, British Columbia on 01-July-2022 for CA$4,75, best by 03-July-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 16-August-2022.
