On tap at Principia CDMX, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma has resinous hops, some oily pine, and bready malt. Flavour reveal bready malt, subdued resinous hops, and dry toasted caramel. Clean but rather deficient on the hops, especially for a IIPA. Okay.

On tap at Principia CDMX. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is dominated by a harsh, almost perfumey, barrel character; some malts underneath. Flavour hits you with cheap spirits up front followed by a wave of limpid malts. A creation whose existence begets confusion.

On tap at Principia CDMX. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Cinnamon, vanilla, and cocoa powder on the nose. Flavour has a pretty well-calibrated mix of cinnamon, cacao, and vanilla. Not much of a malt base. Nice and dry. Pretty palatable pastry stout.
