Can from Beers of Europe. Appearance - opaque black with a fawn head. Though there are some orange chinks. Nose - nuts and molasses. Taste - more nuts, light toffee and a hint of metal. Palate - close to medium bodied with a dry finish. Overall - very quaffable indeed.

Can at ash's. Pours deep brown, nose is liquorice, toffee, some berries, taste is nutty, sweet, liquorice, thin finish, slightly metallic.

Tap at franklin kareoke , rome , italy. Clear yellow small white head. Mild aroma i cannot discern any details not even the alc. There is a sweet malts and honey note though. Flavor is sweet fruits, honey, sweet malts, hardly any bitterness even towards the end, but a lingering fruity to dried fruity sweetness.

Bottle at home from a French supermarket. Clear deep amber/copper with beige head. Soft toffee and bread, grassy hops, lime peel, dank weeds, drying grass, chicory. Quite malty but thereโs also some โgreenโ hops with bitter fruit, leaves and a bit of pine. Light milky and cardboard. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit oily feel. Quite OK.

Cask @ Britons Protection, Manchester. Pours Amber copper with a small White head. Toffee, amber , copper and caramel. Grains. Smooth. Dry finish.

Cask at the Sun Inn, which smelt of vomit, but was in the process of cleaning up as we arrived. The beer itself poured pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of faint acetic acid, malt and lemon. I'm guessing this has been on a good few days. Quite tired tasting overall, and flat. Might be decent in good condition.

Cask at the Sun Inn, Preston. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma not helped by the fact someone has just been sick on the fruit machine. Once you get past the acidic waft of the end of someone's all-day drinking binge, there's a red fruit and faint nuttiness going on. Taste is quite full-bodied. More fruit notes. Nice winter quaffer.
