Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Monday 1st May 2023 listening to Nova Twins - Supernova and cooking Kachin Chicken Curry (a Burmese curry). Pours light/mid gold with a large white head, nice mouthfeel, sweetness seeps through, it's a little malty but also dries out a little, some fruitiness. Good carbonation a little bitterness, nice Helles.

Bottle picked up from the brewery webshop in a mixed case of 8 plus glass, and consumed at home Tuesday 20th July 2021 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music, we had a Salmon Gratin for tea. Pours clear gold, excellent clarity, with a white head. A touch more bitter than a typical Helles which I like. Nice hoppiness, nice nose there is just a hint of sulphur, otherwise it is just a light floral touch of hops. Fruity, sweetness runs dry quite quickly, nice bitterness, good carbonation. This really exceeded my expectations, I was looking forward to the Heller Bock, Weisse etc the most but this is a real contender.

Aromas are mainly banana with some malt, yeast and a bit of spice. Flavors are similar to nose, leans sweet, add in a touch of clove. Carbonation and some bitter to balance. Drinkable but nothing special.

Draught at The Grand Delancey: pours copper with whitish head. Aroma is slightly fruity, perhaps a tad floral. Sweetish. Low bitterness. Nice clean German hops.

Klar brun med masse skum. Lukter malt og litt honning. Lav karbonering på denne. kjenner mye av sødme i smaken. Blir litt tamt for meg.

It's a bit darker and has less of the traditional banana clove flavors of the premiere German hefeweitzens.

Walnut and pecan nose. Clear garnet brown, thin tan head. Strong pecan, wood, sweet malt almost toffee overtones. Light body, easy carbonation. Wonderful complexity and balance.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Creamy white head, clingy lacing, and a bright late straw coloured body. Moderate, smooth smell of grass, hay, and pale malts. Flavoured with prominent cereal malts alongside a note of noble hops. Mid-sweet, drying close. Fine match with our pollock fillet. Tasty Helles. (Tromsø 25.09.2022).
