500 ml. bottle. Best by 4/9/16. It pours a relatively clear brown color with a tall off white head that shrinks in about a minute. The aroma has some toasted malt, banana, raisin, fig, bread and some clove. The rich breadiness is a nice complement to the fruity fermentation esters. The flavor is melanoiden rich with some baked bread, molasses, raisin, banana and clove. Pretty phenolic and estery, but the body is reasonably light and well carbonated. A potent cocktail of dark maltiness and estery yeast activity. Maybe a hint of DMS with some cooked vegetables in the finish. Overall, decent but not a repeat purchase.

Clear pale amber colour, large frothy off-white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma is fruity, grapefruit, pine, pale malts, lemon grass. Taste is light heavy to medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, fruity, with average duration. Light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste is mild sweetbitter, citric notes. Non-offensive and friendly but lacks bitterness to be an IPA, decent.

Bottle at home. #8 of my advendkalender. hazy yellow beer, medium head, Aroma is banana, spices. Taste is weizen.... some banana and spices... quite a good beer.

Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of banana and faint clove. Med body (foamy carbonation). Flavor is banana, moderate clove, and some light malt. Good enough.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours hazy golden colour with no head. aroma of yeast, wood, dry riped fruits, rye. Taste is sweet malty, apples, wood, rye malt, some alcohol.

Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy dark copper amber with a large creamy beige head. Aroma of dark caramel. Med body. Flavor is dark caramel, not getting much fruit. Or noble hop. Despite that it drinks ok.

(bottle, 33cl) Dark brown colour with a big and beige foamy head. Delicately roasted malty aroma with notes of anise, vanilla, flowery hints and chocolate. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a calm carbonation. Dark malt character with notes of chocolate, traces of coffee and a tinge of red berries, as well as mildly wheaty accents; moderately sweet and slightly roasty bitter finish with fruity notes, chocolate and a whiff of coffee. 14.IX.15
