Bottle. Cloudy orange, golden lace. Light salty, herbal grain aroma. Wheaty base flavour, , some orange peel, a few exotic spices and minerally notes, overall fairly subdued though. medium to light body, wheat finish.

As DOM IPA 6,2%: Cloudy, deep golden, mid-sized stable off-white head, sweetish-piney nose, some hidden fruitiness underneath plus a touch of raisins; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, relatively light bodied; slightly lingering grapefruity and sourish finish. O.K., but a bit too tame…

Thanks to jonas for that one. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer very zippy, small head. Starts malty-yeasty with nutty notes. Finish yeasty with fruity hints, modest sourish and spicy. I liked it!

Aroma has soapy citrus, some apricot and hints of toffee. Palate is a bit too high on CO2. Flavour has apricot, some soapy citrus, hints of toffee, hay and spices. Feels like a Belgian ale, no signs of lager or Germany here.

Trocken fruchtiger Hopfenantrunk. Frisch, süffig, balanciert. Grasig erdig, hell, runde. Zum Ende etwas zu trocken, dennoch ziemlich gut. 11/12/12/11/9/11

Looks like ’kotikalja’ or Kivipukki. Aroma has ripe bananas, yeasty notes, hints of spices and caramel. Flavour has ripe bananas, fruity notes, yeast, some wheat and caramel. Like Aventinus, but lacks the richness.

750ml bottle. Minimally cloudy amber colour with small, frothy, diminishing, white head. Aroma has intense BA notes, oak, vanilla, a touch of alcohol - too intense to leave any room for genuine beer flavours. Taste is initially slightly fruity, apple, maybe pear, a touch of citrus; immediately predominate dry BA flavours: oak, vanilla, leather. Definitely the BA flavours are too intense, far from just supporting and complementing the genuine beer taste, which is simply ruled out. Don’t know whether the beer is too weak, the barrels have been too fresh, or a combination of both: Disappointing approach that leaves no chance to advance to the genuine beer’s taste.

Bottle 750ml. corked.Light unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, wheat, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, riped fruit. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft. [20121116]

Bottle @ "Det er meget mørkt i Ulfborg", November 2012. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Nose is fruity hops and yeast. Esters. Sweet and very fruity orange family like. Full bodied.
