Wigan Beer Festival 2026, Beer#28. Hazy golden coloured brew. Hoppy and sweetish tropical fruit notes within. Has a fair balance in this respect.

Hazy / cloudy gold with a bubbly / frothy white head and a mellow fruity nose. Mild carbonation, a little hop kick in amongst the juicy fruit hop and cereal malt, finishes dry and bittersweet.

3rd December 2025
Cask at Pigs Ear. Near clear gold beer, tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a little dry, modest fine carbonation. Light and fairly dry pale malts, a modest sweetness. Fairly obvious vanilla. Alright semi ripe citrus on the back end. Light and semi dry finish. Clunky attempt to do a white stout, don't hate this but, such a clunky attempt at a style.

Gravity Cask at day 2 of the 41st Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 03/12/2025.
Clear golden with an off white cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is coffee, herb, vanilla, airy malts.
Taste comprises soft malts, milky bar shavings, faint coffee, herb.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
So so ... never really into anything from this style tbh.

Falsetto sounds like a Shakespeare character, but it isn't one. It is a distinctively white stout in character brew though, with dry chocolate in this respect prevalent in both aroma and taste, and lingers in aftertaste. Good-looking brew too.

Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London. Middling kind of cask ale with strong piney vibes to it. Spilt a bit up the stairs so everything was savoured more.
