Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Caramel and soft roast in the aroma. Sweet, full bodied. Roast, raisin and caramel in the flavor. Very well balanced. Thick. Very nice.

Bottle at tasting. Opaque jet black color, virtually no head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, dark chocolate, loads of dark chocolate, dark chocolate bitter, bitter. Medium to full body, decent to medium carbonation. Lovely, well done.

Flesje gedronken tijdens proeverijtje, gedeeld door Keukenman. Zwart bier met matig schuim dat snel wegtrekt. Aroma van chocolade en smaak van chocolade en koffie. Nasmaak van koffie met de pit van alcohol.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before end of 2020, cellared for about nine months. Black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty aroma of chocolate, some caramel and a touch of dark fruits. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of chocolate, coffee, caramel and some raisins, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Too heavy on the chocolate, not overly pleasant and lacking all the characteristics of a Quad.
