33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ het Biermoment.nl. Dutch brewery #559. Hazy golden with a white head. Fruity spicy aroma. Sweet spicy taste with a touch of honey. Medium bitter finish. Nice strong and spicy tripel.

Big bottle. Black. Massive brown head. Keeps on foaming. Sweet malts, roast, soft smoke, sour berries, CO2, chocolate. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Seems infected, a bit of a clash between many things. Not great.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een volle bruine schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout, drop en rozijnen. De smaak is vol, moutig, gebrand, koffie en chocolade met een bittere afdronk.

Bottle. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee\. Taste: Very dense and smooth mouthfeel. Roasted malt, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, licorice. Earthy. Lightly citrus hop at the background. Lightly boozy. Full body, below average carbonation. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness going towards medium at dry finish. Another very nice Imperial tout from Goede Kant van het Spoor. Great brewery, great beer.

Bottle. Color: Hazy pale golden, large white head. Aroma: Smoke and campfire stongly overwhelming fruity hints of grape. Taste: Rather weird mix with a lot of smoked meat, peat, campfire and ash combined with notes of spicy cinnamon and liquorice niotes and subtle notes of fruity grape in the background. Just over medium body, average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light bitterness and very slightly tart. Nice experiment, I love the peat part of it but doubt about the overall mix. Nice for once.

I wasn't sure what to expect here, but this stuff is quite nasty. Unpleasant murky greyish orange, white head. Smell is smokey, but in a bit rubbery way. Grapes as well. Watery body. Taste is astringent smokyness and random fruit, clearly hate eachother.

I was warned, and super bitter indeed. Return of the IBU wars! Nice roast, good bit of smoke, and some hoppyness. Did I mention bitterness? This all falls together really nicely. If you can stand bitterness. This is a good one for sure.
