Bottle from Beer Dudes. My fifth in this serie. Color: Black, dense brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, dark coffee. Taste: Roasted malt, coffee, earthy, fruity coffeebean hints. Sweetish but not too sweet. Dense, full body, creamy mouthfeel. Long lasting bittery coffee and roasted finish. Another very nice Travaille.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is big smoke and peat with fruity notes, ash, citrus, touch of white grape and liquorice root. Dominating peat and smoke. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium body with lively carbonation. Flavours seemed to clash at first, but I settled into this beer. Intensely smoked citrus/grape, daring!

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Strong malty aroma with caramel, brown malts, some roast, hint of chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet, mild bitter, some booze in the finish. Medium plus body. Firm flavour and strong, roasty for a Barley Wine. Likeable.

Bottle shared, black beer, small to no head. Aroma is roast, molasses, sweet raisins, hops, citrus. Taste is the same, roast, bitter, sweet, molasses, citrus, hops, grapefruit in the end. Very very nice

Pours a black body with no head. Aroma's: crackers, roasty, umami. Retronasal: umami, soy sauce. Flavour is umami, light sweet, toasted bread. Medium bodied. Long finish.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Opaque black coloured brew with beige foamy heavy. Building up heavy dry bitter taste with hints of roasted malts, dark coffee, citrus and liquorice.

Bottle. Color: Very dark reddish brown, going towards black. No head. Aroma: Roasted malt, vanilla notes, spicy hints. Taste: Roasted malt, liquorice notes, vanilla notes, spicy hints, mocha. Full body, no carbonation. Malty, hoppy backbone. Nice one.

De smaak is vol gebrande mout, koffie, chocolade en zoet van caramel. Het mondgevoel is niet zo dik als ik van deze brouwerij gewend ben.
