Tap, Arendsnest. Aroma has coreander and traubenzucker. Thin and watery beer. Sweet flavor with muscat grapes and citrus. Grape juice aftertaste. Didn’t like it too much.

Tap @ De 2 Wezen Hengelo. Blonde, cloudy. melon apple and berries in the aroma. Hint of yoghurt. Yeasty flavor with loads of fruit (apple, pear, berries, melon). Flowery yeasty aftertaste. I don’t like the house yeast of this brewery. Or is the beer left too long on the sediment? I can’t get past it.

Bottle @ LCRBM 2008. Malt and ginger in the spicy aroma and flavor. Sticky mouthfeel. Decent, compared with other Oijen beers.

Bottle, bought @ de Bierkoning, tasted straight from the bottle in the train from Amersfoort to Apeldoorn. Tangerine and a hint of vomit in the aroma. Tangerine and traubenzucker in the slightly yeasty flavor. Mint in the aftertaste. I’ve had worse from this brewery.

Bottle. Murky brown color. caramel and cardemom in the spicy aroma. Medium bodied. Malty sweet, spicy caramelly flavor. Very low on carbon. Hint of chocolate. Mediocre.

Bottle. Pale amber color. Pours a huge head. Citrus and yeast in the aroma. Citrus, yeast, some floral hops and a firm tartness in the flavor. Unpolished, somewhat amateuristic IPA.

Bottle at home. As Oijens Pils. Clear golden with big fluffy white head. Sweet and dry grainy malts, bitter earthy notes, near walnut. Moderate sweet and quite bitter. From notes: 2005 issue. Cloudy brownish color with a red hue. Head has short retention. Aroma's: herbal sourish, sweetish. Retronasal: sweet fruit, herbs. Moderate sweet flavor. Medium bodied. Hardly a bock.

25cl Bottle at Oijen. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of hops, bitter oranges, orange peel, sweat, caramel, light floral. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, caramel, oranges, light sweaty, grass, decent bitter finish. Light bodied. Not bad actually.
