Description
De Bierbrouwerij ligt in het zicht van de Maas aan de Oijense Bovendijk in de Gemeente Oss. Precies op de grens van de kerkdorpen Oijen en Macharen. Hier zijn PietKees en Carlette Roeland ooit begonnen met de ambachtelijke Brouwerij.
Tot 2002 opereerde de brouwerij onder de naam bierbrouwerij D'n Osche Brouwer. In 2002 werd de naam gewijzigd in Speciaalbierbrouwerij Oijen. De professionalisering werd een feit toen de horeca-locatie op 17 mei 2002 officieel werd geopend. Vanaf 2015 wordt de naam Bierbrouwerij Oijen.

In 2018 werd een samenwerking aangegaan met Thissen's Brouwerij Lith en werden de bieren aldaar gebrouwen. Per 1 januari 2022 stopte de samenwerking met Thissen's Brouwerij Lith. Vanaf dat moment worden de bieren elders gebrouwen. Naar verluid eerst in Duitsland, later weer in Nederland.

Bottle shared at THT July. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of herbs, yeast, malt and caramel. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis. Murky weird yellow-ish with white head. Wheat dough, coriander, quite herbal, some green veggies, soft yeast and a it of plastic. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Bit fizzy carbonation and anbout medium bodied. Not very good.

Bottle shared. Hazy dull golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of yeast, dough, light banana, light citrus and herbal notes. Flavour is above light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Aroma: Sweet malt, caramel, fruit.

Bottle @ home. Slightly hazy pale yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma is typical witbier: wheat, coriander, yeasty banana. Taste wheat, sweetness, banana, yeast, sweetish perfumy a bit. Also too much of the herbs or spices, I guess coriander, in there. Don’t like it.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit hayish, quite nicely bitter. Decent body and carbonation. A decent pilsener.

Hazy pale golden colour with floating particles, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma sweet malts, grain, yeast, overripe fruit, alcoho. Thin mouthfeel, taste light heavy sweet, slightly bitter, light malty, metalic. Neutral middle part leading to a dry malty finish, medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation. Something to forget.

"t.h.t. apr 2015", dus de hopsmaak is er een beetje af denk ik. Licht wijn/azijn-ig smaakje in een romig moutig bier. Onverwacht & apart. 330ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Syrup, brown sugar and sultanas in the aroma. Fruity, malty anf slightly sweet taste with caramel, raisins, blackcurrant and grain.

25cl bottle. Pours hazy dark golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of strong malt, glue and grain. Taste is strong malty, grainy, glue, chemicals, not good...
