Description
De Bierbrouwerij ligt in het zicht van de Maas aan de Oijense Bovendijk in de Gemeente Oss. Precies op de grens van de kerkdorpen Oijen en Macharen. Hier zijn PietKees en Carlette Roeland ooit begonnen met de ambachtelijke Brouwerij.
Tot 2002 opereerde de brouwerij onder de naam bierbrouwerij D'n Osche Brouwer. In 2002 werd de naam gewijzigd in Speciaalbierbrouwerij Oijen. De professionalisering werd een feit toen de horeca-locatie op 17 mei 2002 officieel werd geopend. Vanaf 2015 wordt de naam Bierbrouwerij Oijen.

In 2018 werd een samenwerking aangegaan met Thissen's Brouwerij Lith en werden de bieren aldaar gebrouwen. Per 1 januari 2022 stopte de samenwerking met Thissen's Brouwerij Lith. Vanaf dat moment worden de bieren elders gebrouwen. Naar verluid eerst in Duitsland, later weer in Nederland.

30cl bottle. Pours clear golden colour with a medium good lasting white head. Aroma of grain, pale malt, rotten fruits. Taste is sweet malty, grainy, rotten fruits, dry malty finish.

25cl bottle. Pours hazy amber colour with a medium good lasting light beige head. Aroma of toasted malt, red malt, red fruits, dry fruits. Taste is slightly fruity, some hops, red berries, watery palate.

Tap @ brewery. Hazy yellow coloured, white head. Nose is wheat, bit of coriander, lemon icecream, sweet banana foam candy. A bit odd. Flavour is light wheat, sweet malty, and a bit of fruits. Medium carbonation. Slightly sweet finish.
