Small off-white head over redbrown, cola-like beer. End of bottle serious UFO's. Dark malts, bit of chocolate, rather sweet. Hint at human sweat, dry wood. Bitterish-sweet, bitterness is almost entirely roasted. Bit caramel, dry cacaopowder, mostly dark malts, melanodins, chocolatemalt. Medium bodied, not thick, not very carbonated, finish is a tad thin. Bit dull, run-of-the-mill. En waar wordt dit nu eigenlijk gebrouwen???

Flesje gekocht bij VVV Liempde. Geel oranje-achtig bier met mooie schuimkraag. Aroma van sinaasappel en hop. Smaak is zuur en iets hoppig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Flesje meegebracht van plusmarkt. Oranje-achtig troebel bier met matig, stevig schuim. Aroma van honing en kruiden. Smaak is zoet en hoppig met een kruidige bittere nasmaak.

Zwart bier met mooie licht beige schuimkraag. Smaak is zoet, warm en krachtig met iets van kersen, pruimen, wat vanille en rozijnen. Erg goed bier, echt genieten!

Oranje bruin bier met heel veel stevig schuim wat mooi lang blijft staan. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van sinaasappel, citrus en wat dennen. Fijn bier.

Donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en tamelijk zuur in plaats van zoet wat ik verwachtte vanwege de honing. Tevens een ietwat houtige smaak die ik niet echt kan waarderen, ben helaas niet echt onder de indruk.

330ml bottle. Hazy, brown colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous, beige head. Caramel and chocolately, malty aroma, hints of milk chocolate, toffee, nougat, a fruity touch of plum, roasty coffee overtones. Taste is sweet, caramel malty, yeasty fruity, bitter and slightly fruity hoppy, notes of caramel, a touch of nougat and toffee, hints of plum, fig, cherry, subtle hints of coffee, a minimally alcoholic touch. Slightly oily texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, soft, still prickly carbonation. Sweet malty, but with bitter hoppy counterpart and very refreshing fruitiness, well balanced overall; furthermore well matching, if delayed, coffee flavours - a very, very nice Doppelbock.
