Clear pale amber. Dense off-white head and lacing. Sweet aroma of biscuits, grass and flower fields. Well-balanced bitterness and maltiness. Good aftertaste. A very fine traditional English bitter

BOTTLE 50CL.

Look: clear amber, off-white frothy head.
Aroma: malty/bready, oily toast, light fruity, esters.
Taste: light fruit, quite dry, phenolic bitter finish.

Bottle from Co-op. Amber pour with a white head. Toffee malt nose with some notes of fruit. Fruit and spice flavours. Quite dry. Bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with fruity notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with estery notes and touches of fruit and citrus. Mildly bitter finish. Low carbonation. Watery. OK but nothing to sweep me off my feet. Not off as such, even though the bottle is past the BBD. May need re-rating.

Appearance: Clear amber color with a fine off white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Malty, hoppy and fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Fruity, a fine hop profile and malty.
Overall impression: Probably the best ale you can get in a Swedish grocery store!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein kupferfarbenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, nussig, würzig, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack röstmalzig, fruchtig, würzig, Karamell, nussig, alkoholisch.
