Bottled. Colour is amber, with big white fluffy head. Aroma is hoppy and a bit honey with some malts in it. Flavour is honey, flowery hops and mouldy. Weird thing is that there is something very alcohol-like in finish.

(Cask at Priory Arms, Stockwell, London 21 Apr 2006) Colour is pale amber. Nose is fruity and malty with hints of sweet honey. Taste is malty, fruity (mandarin) with sweet honey notes and some hops in the finish. A refreshing and enjoyable ale, but exciting? Not really.

Cask at Banbury Beer Festival Fri 21-04-06. Golden beer with a small head, good level of bitterness but honey flavours can be detected. [i] Cask at The Swan Bicester 29-09-07 [/i] Nice crisper tasting than I remembered, honey still everpresent but less than I recall, quite fruity and bitter. [b] 3.4 [/b]

Bottled. Amber colour, clear, rich head. Inviting honeyish flowery hop aroma. Dry with very light body and a wealth of aromatic resiny hops. Crisp mouthfeel. Despite it’s very low gravity it doesn’t feel thin. Medium bitterness. Pretty much the best beer you can get in Swedish supermarkets as beers above 3.5% aren’t sold there.

Bottle Amber coloured with dense head. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Long, grassy hop bitterness. A bit on the thin side but a good session beer.

Cask, Guildford Arms, Edinburgh. Clear copper color. Bitter taste, soft and smooth texture, slightly creamy. Decent bitter.

An amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is surprisingly hoppy which also gives it touch of grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel.

Hazy pale copper, small white head. Yeasty, a bit sweet nose and what I suppose is Target hops. Barley, some roasted notes, then strong hoppy finish. A bit yeasty with honey notes, good bitter with character.

500ml Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Having raved about the Triple from Brakspear which was superb the other evening this was also excellent. An smashing hoppy beer which has a lovely bitter finish that invites you back for another slurp. A very well balanced beer.
