Draught at the brewery; 4.8% ABV
Clean amber colour, with tan, creamy head. The malt base has strong bread qualities, but not much body; I'm wondering if it lacks a bit of carbonation; correct bitterness. Glad I had a half pour, could be too much on its own, but good with most food.

Blond colour, chill haze, compact creamy head. The aroma is moderately dank. It's full bodied, with some residual sweetness; a bit undercarbonated, which means a bit oily; bold bitterness, but with piney and vegetable notes; too vegetable in the finish, for my taste. They call it 'bright', but that's not the first thing that comes to mind.

On tap at Otherlands, pours a cloudy bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma has a very crunchy, earthy hop character, with bready malt. Flavour reveals plenty of earthy and resinous hops, with crunchy bready malt. Earthy, crunchy finish. It's alright.

On tap at Otherlands, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is pretty corn-like, fresh grass, and crisp straw. Flavour is crisp, with fresh grassy hops, herbaceous notes, and straw. Fresh and bright, finishing crunchy. It's decent.

Pour at Dark Fields of Winter. Pours clear yellow with foamy white head. Aroma is quite yeasty with notes of citrus. Flavour is floral and yeasty with notes of citrus. Nice carbonation. Not a proper Belgian, but an enjoyable beer with Belgian-y characteristics.

Bottle, mooch tasting, courtesy of Sergey and the gang
Hazy blond colour, lively carbonation. Aroma of alcohol, acid, mild fruits, light wort. Good body; the flavour is very grainy, worty; there's some Belgian character, spicy yeast, light aniseed, but also something else going on, some other fermentation, ossibly some acidity, and earthy character; distinctive bitterness, a touch too hot in the finish.
Weird, but good.

750ml shared with Josh (thx for the beer, man!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: cloudy golden with an extremely huge white head. Aroma: some farmhouse-ish notes and Belgian esters. Taste: along the same lines, kinda a mix of farmhouse ale and Belgian saison. Overall: pretty good.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Hazy yellow gold with big white head. Mild belgian yeast, light esters, fairly dry, a touch boozy at 8.5%,

Kind of murky, paleish. Bottle foamed up a bit, but it just means a nice head. On the nose, there's a touch of brett c, pale malts. Somewhat fruity, too. On the palate, definitely brett, and it's eating the sugars. So it's relatively dry now, with a vaguely earthy yeast character. No distinct bugs but something is going wild in there. Lean body. Only a touch effervescent...this probably was opened at a good time before it fermented too far. But that said, it's not terribly complex. Overall, a solid effort.

Draft pour pint enjoyed at The Bine, Bothell. Shiny and clean golden pour. Crisp up front, but very much hop filled to follow. Grassy, with a bold bitterness. Still drinks like the light 5% pils it is. In no way lacking in the flavor department. Pils grain and a fresh grassy aroma. Delicious brew. Crusher of a flavorful Czech pils.
