Bottle from Tommie Sjef himself, handwritten label, 2016 bottle, large sample. Hazy golden color, initially big champagne like head, quickly diminishing to some tiny lacing. Aroma is funky, slight barnyard, bit green apple, white wine, fruity, slight citrus. Bit sweetsour in taste, mostly acetic acid, slight lactic, fruity sweetness. Bit thin in the finish perhaps. Medium to high carbontion, which Tommie warned me about, but it fits the beer. Lovely again.

Bottle from Tommie, 174/420 BB 30-01-2026, large sample. Almost clear ruby color, medium frothy head. Aroma of funk, horseblanket, bit dusty, slight fruity. Wow, superb. Tart and sour in taste, fruity, funky. Fruit balances the sourness perfectly and gives body. Great balance and complexity. Absolutely stunning stuff.
