Sampled @ Pre-Borefts-Tasting 2016. Sehr trübes rötlich oranges Bier mit geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifen roten Früchten, Essig. Geschmack sehr sauer fruchtig, rote Früchte, essig.

Bottle at Pre-Boredts. Lovely deep red with with light pink head. Lots of cassis, herbs, berry pits, hay, sour grains, sulphur, balsamico. Medium sour with soft sulphuric saltiness. Medium bodied. Not his best but still good!

Bottle at the pre-Borefts tasting, Den Haag, 2016. Poured a murky reddish pink colour with a thin white head. The aroma is big red berry fruit, yeast. The flavour is moderate sour with a big fruit yeast, crisp, refreshing, doughy biscuit yeast palate. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation.

Small slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, nice deep reddish color. Aroma is slightly dry fruity, old rope, minerals, oak, berry skin, dry sour cherries, bark, weeds, tiny hints of something grainy/poocorny/sulfury far back. Taste is slightly dry and mild sour-ish, sorrel, oak, dry sour cherries, minerals, old rope, fruit stones, sorrel, redwine, tiny hints of grain. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice.
