473 ml can. 2024 vintage just labeled Belgian Tripel. Pours gold with moderate head. Aromas of banana, pears, spicy esters, and bready malts. Flavors of earthy esters, fruity pears, banana, candied stoned fruit and bready malts. Quite nice, though still on the North America side of a Belgian.

Roast and a little caramel. Not a lot of depth. Black pour with decent head. Light bitter end. Can.

Can from CCC July 2024 box. Murky reddish purple with a foamy, one finger light purple cap that fades quickly to a sheet, leaving spotty lace. Nose is bright tart raspberry with some light vanilla and grass. Light jam sweetness with a medium raspberry tartness that is more pronounced than in the nose. Mouth is medium with prickly carbonation and a tart finish. 7/3-/8/3+/14

Bronze colour, bright. Medium head. Biscuity, toasty malt nose with moderate spruce. On the palate, same malt profile and quite a bit more spruce. Medium bitterness. There’s some quality hops in here but they seem to be overwhelmed by the spruce. Still, the spruce-malt dynamic works well.

473ml can. Pours a hazy amber gold with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, Belgian yeast, banana, clove and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready caramel malt, pineapple, Belgian yeast, lemon and spicy hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Enjoyable and easy to drink.

Amber, hazy, thin head. Strong oak aroma, figgy, peachy, toffeeish barley wine. It's fairly harsh up front, especially in the oak, but also the alcohol kind of clobbers. That fruity depth of barley wine is quite good, though, and helps to mollify the brutality. Like when a melodic breakdown slices through a proper tech death bludgeoning.

473 ml can. Pours a deep mahogany color with no head. Aromas of candi sugar, caramel, rye, oak, and sweet toasted malts. Flavors follow same with sharper rye and oak, plus a bit of alcohol.

473 ml can. Pours a dull amber with light head. Aromas of buttery oak, Brett, cottony muddled fruit, and toasted malts. Flavors of oak, orange, soft but bitter pine, and toasty malts. Works for me. Packaged Sept 2022 so maybe the Brett has time to do its job. Really nice.
