Amber, hazy, thin head. Strong oak aroma, figgy, peachy, toffeeish barley wine. It's fairly harsh up front, especially in the oak, but also the alcohol kind of clobbers. That fruity depth of barley wine is quite good, though, and helps to mollify the brutality. Like when a melodic breakdown slices through a proper tech death bludgeoning.

473 ml can. Pours a deep mahogany color with no head. Aromas of candi sugar, caramel, rye, oak, and sweet toasted malts. Flavors follow same with sharper rye and oak, plus a bit of alcohol.

473 ml can. Pours a dull amber with light head. Aromas of buttery oak, Brett, cottony muddled fruit, and toasted malts. Flavors of oak, orange, soft but bitter pine, and toasty malts. Works for me. Packaged Sept 2022 so maybe the Brett has time to do its job. Really nice.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy orange gold with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that laces nicely. Aroma of caramel malt, grapefruit, earth and piney hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, grapefruit peel, pine resin and spicy hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Pretty solid, but could use more punch.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 09/28/2023). Clear gold with white head. Mild sweet doughy malt with earthy woody, citrus and pine hops. The fresh hops come together really nicely here.

473mL can, pours a clear copper golden with a medium white head. Aroma reveals fresh earthy, woody, piney hops, some light citrus undertones, and doughy malt. Flavour is vibrant and fresh, with bright woody piney hops, some spiciness, and loads of doughy malt. Spicy, piney, woody finish, with a nice lingering bitterness. Now this is a very nice fresh hop WCIPA -- raising the bar for BC.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 2023-06-01). Lightly hazed yellow with small white head. Lots of esters, cloves, thinner bodied, lacks the doughy yeast quality of most hefes.
