Bright gold, ff white head. Tart nose and palate, notes of bubblegum, medium funk. Very poor carbonation, not my thing

473mL can, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma has a more grassy hop character than anything NZ-like, with a crisp crackery malt base. Flavour is more NZ-hop reminiscent, with tangy melony hops, bitter grassiness, and a crisp crackery malt base. Biting, bitter finish, but doesn’t seem like optimal NZ hop expression. Good.

Can, huge thanks A.V.! Valhalla tasting. Huge aroma, caramel, orange, fusels, alcohol, bit spicy, dusty, still pleasant even if it's a bit flawed. Creamy, pleasantly caramelly taste, orange, spices, rum raisins, bitterish finish. Yeah, this kinda works!

Bottle, thx Adam V! Muddy darky golden, traces of a head at best. Creamy woody oaky aroma, bit vegetal, bit of oxidized maltiness. Lean dry creamy oaky taste, bit of berry, bit vegetal, nicely smoothy, odd profile for brett presence. Not bad, not fantastic.

Hazy amber, medium head. Kinda murky-looking. Yeasty, not all that bitter, malts are whatever. Lacks a sense of purpose - it’s not czech or anything else.

473mL can, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a slight metallic tinge, with lots of dark dried fruits, dry toffee, bready notes, and Belgian yeast. Flavour is fairly complex, with a dry, woody, bready caramel, and a touch of spiciness. Not exactly authentically quad-like, but it’s a nice dark Belgian-influenced strong. Pleasant.

Amber, with slight haze. The aroma has a bready, toasty character, with some light fruitiness. On the palate, it's got some dryness in the finish, a good bit of alcohol, with fruity complexity. Solid quad, no weirdness, dried fruit, hits the style well.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has plenty of brett, a touch of oak, some gentle hop tang, and grassiness. Flavour is primarily a function of the brett, with a nice oaky foeder character, a touch of grassy hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Pretty brett-forward, not so hoppy; clean and well-structured. Good stuff.

Slight haze. Oh, this has a nice aroma. Good brett, some barrel accents, and a bit of pale malt. Got a nice bretty accent with a lot of tannins. Soft, sweet malt. I like the balance here. The hops have a bit of kiwi/vinous things going on.

473mL can. Pours clear amber with a beige head. Nose comes across a little dusty and tired, but there is a dry Belgian yeast and some darker malts. Flavour has a dry Belgian yeast character; a touch of bubblegum, cloves and other spices. Malts are well-calibrated: dry with a touch of ashy roast. This comes together very well, much more complex on the palate than it was on the nose.
