Pale and hazy, with a thin head. The aroma is definitely fuzzy peach, and bright. On the palate, that same fuzzy peach character blasts through, with a good dose of grapefruity bitterness, and maybe some lychee notes on top of that. Malts are good here, too, clean, pale and sweet. Cat 12 is quietly, consistently solid.

16oz from can shared at home. Vintage 2025. Canned 26.03.2026. Yellow hazy color, small white head. smells pickles, earthy, dill, spices. Weird smell. full body, soft carbonation. Tastes cryo hops, dill, herbal, earthy, pepper. Finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of dill herbs and earthy notes. Ok, not that great

473mL can, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma has a more grassy hop character than anything NZ-like, with a crisp crackery malt base. Flavour is more NZ-hop reminiscent, with tangy melony hops, bitter grassiness, and a crisp crackery malt base. Biting, bitter finish, but doesn’t seem like optimal NZ hop expression. Good.

Can, huge thanks A.V.! Valhalla tasting. Huge aroma, caramel, orange, fusels, alcohol, bit spicy, dusty, still pleasant even if it's a bit flawed. Creamy, pleasantly caramelly taste, orange, spices, rum raisins, bitterish finish. Yeah, this kinda works!

Bottle, thx Adam V! Muddy darky golden, traces of a head at best. Creamy woody oaky aroma, bit vegetal, bit of oxidized maltiness. Lean dry creamy oaky taste, bit of berry, bit vegetal, nicely smoothy, odd profile for brett presence. Not bad, not fantastic.

Hazy amber, medium head. Kinda murky-looking. Yeasty, not all that bitter, malts are whatever. Lacks a sense of purpose - it’s not czech or anything else.

473mL can, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a slight metallic tinge, with lots of dark dried fruits, dry toffee, bready notes, and Belgian yeast. Flavour is fairly complex, with a dry, woody, bready caramel, and a touch of spiciness. Not exactly authentically quad-like, but it’s a nice dark Belgian-influenced strong. Pleasant.
