Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a dark brown with orange edges, head was off white. Aroma roasted malts with some vanilla. Taste is Roasted malts, light vanilla, very robust.

23/1/2021. Bottle shared at the first Ipswich Lockdown 3.0 virtual bottle share. From Beers of Europe. Pours black with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, ash, treacle, coffee. Moderate sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Light bodied, a little watery but quite smooth, soft carbonation. Nice, does well with it's low abv.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - matt black with a lovely fawn (or large crema) head. Nose - caramel, coffee, honeycomb and dark chocolate. Taste - roast, chocolate, caramel and a little honey. Palate - close to medium bodied, dry middle and finish. Overall - good, but would be better with higher ABV.

2/12/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of fruit, toffee, raisins, fruit cake, grain, yeast, alcohol. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Warming fruity finish. Quite liked it.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 17/11/20. Clear golden with a moderate white cap of bubbles. Nose is mellow fruit esters, light breads, grains. Taste comprises dusty fruits, toasted malts, crackers, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable golde affair.

Bottle: Poured cloudy orange coppery with a white bubble head. Aroma is malty, light soggy cardboard, caramel. Taste is better with some rich caramel malts, light fruit, little bitter hops.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - golden with a light haze. Slightly off-white head. Dark, floating chunks of yeast at the end of the pour. Nose - lemon, lemon curd, with a hint of grapefruit. Generally, a bit custardy. Taste - lemon to grapefruit again, with still something a little custard-like going on too. Palate - light bodied, creamy texture. Good bitterness on the finish. Overall - quite good. Doesn't make me think Christmas, mind!

Cask handpull at Kings Head Norfolk. Clear amber colour lasting off white head. malty beer. biscuit. some herb and pepper. Yes a yeasty malty typically English bitter. which is moderate bitter. ok.

14/8/2020. Bottle from Roy’s of Wroxham Food Hall. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, light ginger, flowers, grass, malt. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a light tart edge. Moderate body, carbonation is too fizzy but otherwise quite pleasant.
