Bottle share at the Bottleshop. Hazy paleish gold beer, small white head. Minerally crisp palate. Nice light sourness, touch of lemon. Good white wine vibe, mildly sweet. A light crisp finish brings a touch of white wine vinegar. Refreshing and nicely mildly sour, no bloody lactic nonsense.

Bottle massive thanks to Kenny. It pours bright red with a small white head. The nose is earthy, funky, musty, cherry skin, wood, ham and raspberry pip. The taste is crisp, bitter, tart, cherry peel, raspberry pip, some acidity, granny smith apple, earth, light smoke and cheddar towards the finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp and juicy. A bit smokey, but still decent.

375ml bottle into tulip glass. Subdued sweet malt nose, pepper and hops in the background. Caramel sauce appearance with thin film of suds. Effervescent in the mouth, immediate hop hit. Finish is dry citric acid intensity and long. Really good beer but too bitter for a bitter (if you know what I mean).

Bottle. Pale straw gold with a white head that’s soon gone. Damp wheaty aroma with old lemons, lime, apricot stones. Husky and grainy sweetness, some nectarines, lime, mouldering lemons, mellow apples, hint of hard spice. Moderate sourness, damp laundry funk. No bitterness. The minerally feel that works well in some other Moa beers doesn’t work so well here and maybe there’s a little too much sweetness, but this is pretty good and not entirely unlike a gueuze.
