10th Sep 2017: cask pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire. Straw blonde body, white topping. Yet another light coloured citrus flavoured beer from a UK brewer. I am fed up with them, others are not though, so they keep getting brewed. This one was no worse (or better) than all the rest. Thirst quenching enough, but not my thing. Scored objectively.

Cask (Backlog). Amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is citrus, some slight spicy notes as well as some mild bready malts to it. Flavour is citrus, some spices, mild bready and toasted notes. Mild bitterness and quite watery palate.

Bottle from Worldwide Alcohol, Chelmsford. Pours pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of hop, citrus, grain and yeast. Medium sweetness with medium to heavy bitterness. Light body and oily texture. Carbonation is average. Finish is sweet, and a bit rough.
