500ml Bottle - Hazy copper. Drie fruit, malt and chilli in the aroma. Malty and very spicy taste with notes of leather, dried fruit and a warming finish. The chilli taste lingers for a long time.

Cask @ Angel Inn, Corbridge 090912
Amber, clear, thick dense white head, good lacing
Aroma - sweet light orange, caramel malts, nice fruity grapefruit hops, resinous hops, good aroma
Taste as aroma, bit of grassy hop too, really creamy almost custardy pale malt backbone cramps the hops.
Palate - soft carb, medium body. Creamy texture, cremy golden malt. Texture very oily. Finish - citrus tangy bitter hops with that creamy fruity malt...it’s too creamy for me
Overall - Good beer but it’s too oily and creamy which spoils it somewhat - it would have been 16 otherwise
