Caramel brown, dense off white head with some lacing
Aroma - soft caramel malts, not much on the aroma
Taste - soft caramel malts. toffee malts, hint of chocolate, good flavour, alcohol well hidden, would like more flavour though - I remember it beingt a tad more intense than this
Palate - thinnish body. Finish as main flavour witha bit of soft lingering toasted malts with a bit of cocoa
Overall - Seems to be not as good when I’ve had it before - will re-rate next time I see it

Cask at GBBF. It pours amber, with no head. The nose is wood, leather, sweat, tinned fruit and a hint of eggy sulphur. The taste is sweet tinned pear, melon, raisin, leather, earth, brown bread and dust, with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. So-so.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Lightly hazy amber beer, no real head. Palate is smooth and a little dry. Ginger dominates everything, can’t taste any malt or hops. However the ginger is nice and fresh. Warming ginger aftertaste.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Light haze on this gold beer, no real head. Light dry palate, very mild fine carbonation. Mild orange citrus with a little honey. Pretty dry finish. Okay. More of a low carbonation golden than a lager. Bit too dry.

Golden yellow...clear...thin white head
Aroma of sweet pale malts...juicy citrus fruits...hint of peach....light grassy hops
Taste - grassy hops...some citrusy hops underneath...bit of citrus zest... mainly grassy hops... background of pale sweet malts...not complex though
Palate - medium carb...thin to medium body...texture quite oily. Finish grassy bitter...orange zest....lingering considerably bitter finish
Overall - Quite assertive hops more grassy than citrus
