$2.25 Can, Beer Run. Pours pale gold with a small white head. Aroma is orange, candied, and some sewage water. Flavor is candied orange, vanilla, cardboard,... tastes more like a Flintstones vitamin, especially with the aspirin aftertaste, than a creamsicle. Blah.

Crisp and slightly hazy golden and light peach coloured body with a rather large, four centimetre tall off-white head on top. Aroma of crisp biscuity malt along with a dose of grain and perhaps oatmeal along with a noticeable lager yeast, some more assertive grassy and floral hop bites and ending with a faint bit of sugars, more from apples and caster sugar than from anything else. Medium-bodied; Rich biscuity malt flavours at first with a heavy hand of grassy and floral hop flavours coupled with a earthier yeast strain that would be typical with an ale. Aftertaste shows a very nice complexity, especially for a lager with more malt notes showing through and a lot of hop bitterness, along with a faint dose of sugars (although they fade fast) and a hint of medicinal and off-flavours at the very end. Overall, a very nice lager that shows a lot of hops, some pleasant bitterness and a very complex finish which make this worth trying to find, especially if you like the style and variance in your weekly/monthly beers! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia on 06-November-2016 for US$3,99 sampled at home in Washington on Father’s Day on 18-June-2017 with my two lovely girls!

On tap @ The Pony. This is a soft blurry yellow golden one, only a soft bubbly white head on the top but still quite side clinging. Lots and lots of wit aromas here. Its also really hoppy and quite good smelling. Peppery and wittish. Tastes pretty good also. Mild soapy at first cause theres a fair amount of bitterness. Then really fruity evolving. Green apples and hops. Just about average on the bubbles and its mild oily in the mouth. Easy to drink. Not a bad one at all. 12.06.2015

Pours clear gold into a shaker. Bright white with little retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Orange creamsicle aromas. Sweet vanilla upfront turning to mild citrus before the lasting bitter earth and marshmallow finish. Becomes cloying.
