Draft at 10 Railroad St in Morrisville, VT. Not retired. Cloudy apple sauce colored pour with no head. High hop content for the style. Disappointing. Maybe it should stay retired.

Bottle from Market Basket Slightly hazy deep yellow and it foamed when I opened the bottle. Lots of citrus and juicy tropical fruits with hints of sweet bread and rind. Not bad.

Hazy golden and honey coloured body with a thick, four to five centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of crisp apples, honey, yeast, citrus, pine and a dose of apricots, very nice and hoppy without being bitter in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong crisp and pungent piney and floral hops at first with a nice balance of malt and a light apple and pear sweetness near the end with a good robust dry character at the end. Aftertaste shows pine and citrus with a good dry grassy finish and a great balance of malts. Overall, a nice IPA with a good flavour , some subdued sweetness and a dry finish after some good hops, without much bitterness throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 14-June-2017 for US$2,49 sampled in my hotel room here in Columbia, South Carolina on 20-August-2017.

Cloudy yellow color. The aroma is a bit dank, musky. The malt is crisp, light; the hopping is strong, powerful resins, but also too much pithy bitterness in the final.

7 week old can > stange A: Mostly clear very frothy pour of medium gold color. Excellent retention of the tight rocky head. Sticky lace left. S: Tart orange pulp and pith with subtle sweet hints of spruce and caramel. T: Bracing bitterness with grapefruit pith dominating. A pronounced malt note of sweet bread or wood to balance. Slightly boozy. M: Medium body and average carbonation. Slighlty resinous finish. O: Pretty good but not exceptional. The flavor doesn’t quite live up to the great look and smell. Likely not a repeat purchase.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Appearance is lightly hazy, pale yellow-orange with decent sparkle, ephemeral 1/2-finger width fizzy white head and no lacing. Aroma is cracker malts with light citrus. Taste is cracker, cardboard, hint of citrus. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, creamy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and dry, crisp finish. Overall, got the slightest amount of orange but never got any vanilla. Good palate and not harsh but also not much to recommend it.

A hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of fresh hops, lemons, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and citrus fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle from Total Wine, South Richmond. Pop the top and it jizzes all over me, the desk, etc immediately. Tainted, perhaps? Pours slightly hazy golden with a soft white head. Aroma is orange and tangerine as well as floral hops. Flavor is citrus, nothing specific, slight rootbeer flavor (odd), minor pine, minor cracker. Interesting.
