Grand tasting at Craft Islington with Hackobock. Thanks to Padraig. Light haze on this gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent carbonation. Sweetish thin malts. Great hops - mellow skunk, good spicy citrus and and tropical fruits. Some citric peel bitterness. Smooth semi dry finish. Spicy bitter linger. Could be a DIPA there is so little Pils character. Super beer though!

Sampled on draft at Hugo’s this beer poured a bright yellow color with an enormous soapy white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was tart and sour with cactus and pine. The flavor was sweet yet bitter with notes of yeast, cactus and pine . Very long hoppy finish. Medium body. Ok.

Nose is citric peel, biscuit, earthy hops, grass, bread dough, melon. Taste comprises orange peel, citric jus, straw, toasted grains, lemon drizzle, light airy malt base. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent hop laden lager.

Can at home in NH - sourced from the Hanover Co-Op. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Great aroma, loaded with pithy citrus, tangerine, peach, melon. Light to medium sweet flavour with pithy and juicy citrus, mild piney and grassy bitterness, some orange rind, more tangerine, more peach. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Clean grassy bitterness in the finish, more rind, dry pale bread, pithy grapefruit and tangerine. I mean, this is excellent. I would honestly put this up against the other big name VT breweries. At 6%, this is super flavorful, well balanced, and really clean. Bravo.

Can from East Derry Slightly hazy deep yellow with a huge frothy white head that persists. Resinous earthy grassy hop nose with faint bready malt with a touch of toast. Flavor follows the aroma fairly well. Easy drinking solid IPA.

Bottleshare: pours light brown with almost no head. Aroma is maple, booze, sugar, and fruitiness. Taste is boozy and sweet. Kind of thick. Tasty. Lingering sweet aftertaste. A lot.

12oz can pours a mostly clear orange gold with some frothy, rocky, lacing white head. Nose is quite nice, grassy, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, hints of tropical fruit. Flavor is again grassy, straw, some light grist, lemon, orange, mild soap, mild pine. Finishes dry, lightly bitter. Very nicely done.

12oz bottle pours a dark, opaque black with a little bit of legs and some swirling tan head. Nose of malt, chocolate, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, a little booze. Flavor is a touch more simplified, cola, molasses, more cheap bourbon here, some vanilla extract. Fairly smooth and drinkable though.
