Description
The Oslo was the start of Galway Bay Brewery and remains our flagship pub based in Salthill; our owners Jason O’Connell and Niall Walsh added a brewery on site in 2009, making The Oslo one of the country’s first brew pubs. Since then Galway Bay Brewery has expanded operations to 11 bars based in Galway and Dublin and have grown and re-positioned the Brewery just outside of Galway in Oranmore. We now produce four core beers along with a plethora of rotational beers that are released throughout the year.
With the installation of our new brew house we are turning our focus towards exporting and making our beers available in the UK and Europe

Jet black with a tan head. Aroma of roast malt and dark fruits. Flavour is blackcurrant jam notes on a milky dry stout, roast malt, light burnt, fruity finish.

Rate: 3.9 one of the best option to start the night, best before 05/23, time to enjoy it, a lager/export, brewed rather on the American way, subtle, well balanced, floral, aromatic, malty, yeasty, perfumed hop, good bitterness, preparing pizza, oh yes, 11.03.24, at Epalinges

From bottle at Remko's Bierproefavond. Didn't take notes, just enjoyed nice beers and good company. What I do remember: A bit sourish, not how it's meant to be. Infection. Overall not that bad. No rating.

On tap @ Mikkeller bar CPH airport. Dark brown body under a beige head. Promising aroma and taste with typical dry stout qualities, but unfortunately there is a certain sourness that I assume is not intended. Might be a bit off.
