Bottled 750ml. -from Ipertosano Pradamano (Udine) as Monte Nerone Triplo Malto Bionda. Honey golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, sweet malty nose. Sweet malty, caramel, yeasty and light spicy with touch of alcohol in the finish. Nothing more nothing less than ok.

Bottle: Poured a reddish/amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of caramel malt notes with stem fruity notes. Taste is also a mix of caramel and fruity notes with light yeasty notes. Body slight with good carbonation. Strong amber ale with limited flavor profile.

330ml bottle from Noz, Hazebrouck. Pours a hazed amber, very short-lasting white foam head, quite fizzy in the glass. Strange infected notes to this, murky, chemically.. constant fizz.. down the sink.

Bottiglia. Il naso viene catturato dall'orzo. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta opalescente. Il colore è giallo torbido. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è normale e la persistenza è corta. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è delicato. Sul tetto della bocca finiscono indizi di miele, pane, cereali ed erbaceo.

Bottiglia. Arco olfattivo dominato dall'orzo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono anche la forma della frizzantezza, con carbonazione frizzante. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro non è invasivo. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, pane cotto di recente, un accenno di resinoso e agrumi.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal luppolo e dal fruttato. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il manto birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. La parte liquida si presenta velata. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono anche la forma del perlage, con carbonazione vivace e persistente. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, luppolo, agrumi, pompelmo e arancia amara.

330ml bottle 3 years past BBE but lets just say nicely aged! Pours dark brown, no head of note. Aroma is malty, toffee, liquorice, honey. Taste is sweet honey, dried fruits and liquorice, wood, pepper, modest background bitterness. I think there needed to be more bitterness to balance the sweetness here. Very light for an 8% and carbonation is minimal. Its like they had the basis of a good beer but didn't bother to improve it, so its a bit shoddy in truth but fairly pleasant in taste.

750ml bottle. Look - murky pastel amber colour, brief off-white head, some circular retention. Nose - stone fruits, yeast, brown bread. Taste - biscuit, brown bread, stone fruitiness, semi-sweet, mild bitterness. Palate - medium bodied, oily, clings to the teeth, average carbonation. Fairly unremarkable.
