In 1984, we were the first craft brewers in Ontario. With a dedication to precision, detail and pure ingredients, we were – and still are – making the kind of beer we’d choose to drink ourselves. As Ontario’s first craft brewer, we look back to the past with pride and are excited for the future.

Can split at Bodney Heights, thanks to FLBH via Dave, 22/02/18. Lightly hazed pale golden with a decent off white head. Nose is red grapefruit, blood orange, sweet red citric shizzle. Taste comprises blood orange, red grapefruit, sweet licks, grass, redcurrant jelly, lemonade. Light bodied, fine carbonation, sweet close. Decent radler ... a touch overly sweet but a solid flavour profile.

This IPA poured a nice amber colour with a frothy off white head. Medium lacing. Scents include a little caramel dough and metal. First swig was not bad. Not overly hopped, nice and malty. I’m good with it. Flavours of caramel, toast and hay. Finish is malty with a little hoppy bitterness lingering.

Pours a light yellow colour, a very slight haze, with a white cap, frothy, decent lasting with some good creamy lacing. Citrus nose with lemon and lime notes. A little resemblance to 7-Up. The taste is sweet at first, but not syrupy with some malt notes in the finish. Not as crisp or refreshing as expected from citrus.

Label is quite different than this. Has a big blue maple leaf on it. Drank right from the twist off cap bottle. I assume its pale yellow & clear. Big first swig yields a fairly reasonable tasting cheap pale lager. Good co2 makes it quite quaffable as well as behaved. Civilized decent thirst quenching beer. Good job brick.

No aroma, no flavour, not even off flavours. All around plain and boring. President's choice can.

This bock poured a deep dark amber colour with a tan coloured, frothy head. Scents include caramel, toast, smoke and Marmite. First swig was quite rich with nice burnt/toasty flavours with a resemblance of Marmite. It is a yeast spread after all... finish is burnt malts and a little cocoa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
