Decent blonde pour, vague cloudiness, with white fluffy head that sticks around. Taste is slightly sweet grassy malt, with mild citrus running though, with a little resinous bitterness that lingers. Really quite good. Can from the brewery

Bottle 0.5l, more than three years aged. Trade with boys from GLB, many thanks! Vintage 2022, 9.5%abv. Seems clear, black colored. AROMA- roasted, alcohol, chocolate, nuts. FLAVOR- velvety, lightly sweet, moderately bitter, bourbon, dark chocolate pralines, cocoa nibs. Fuller to full bodied.

Can from the LCBO. Hazy medium amber under a lingering frothy cream coloured head that produces spotty lace. Nose has generous grains, citrus, pine, grass, light honey and some mineral notes. Light malt sweetness with a big citrus peel and pine bitterness. Mouth is medium+ and creamy with average carbonation and a bitter finish. A little fuller and more warming than the regular Octo.

Low tan head on a near black body. The aroma is sumptuous with chocolate fudge, bourbon and biscuit malt. Big, rich, slick and warming, this is a superior RIS. The chocolate fudge leads the taste profile with bourbon, fresh coffee, toffee, butter and dark berries adding to the blend. Hints of vanilla, macaroons, fruity hops and wood shavings create a superior complexity. Whoof.

Is it cheating to make a solid, refreshing IPA, and then call it a pale ale to make it even more impressive? Refreshing and fresh hop profile plays bigger than the listed 35 ibu. Bready malt and a touch of soapiness round it out, with strong effervescence adding to the drinkability.

Citra hops are like cheating. If you like punchy citrus hop IPAs, these are automatic hits. A big fluffy white head with solid lacing on an unfiltered dark straw body. Solid, juicy citrus hops lead the taste profile, with prominent grapefruit, pineapple and orange elements. The hops sustain really well and the sweet malts make their presence known throughout. A big taste for only 65 IBUs.

A soft tan head on a near black body. A vibrant nose features fresh ground coffee, cocoa and a touch of cream. This baby is a cut above. Definitely features roasted coconut, smooth milk chocolate, macaroons, cream and hints of dark berries and nuts. Appealing density, mid-range carbonation. Vibrant definable tastes that are still subtle and well blended.

A light golden body topped by a solid white head. The nose pops with fresh citrus and grapefruit with a faint hint of sweet malt. A solid bitterness leads the taste profile with elements of pine, resin, grapefruit, grapefruit rind and lemon. The sweet bready malt is there but is subdued. A soapy taste builds as the taste lingers. A lively medium-plus carbonation and medium body and density help appreciation of the taste. A nice addition to the tank 10 series.
