Description
We’ve always relied on our wits to give us an edge. We tried things others wouldn’t and refused to let being smaller keep us from thinking big. To become masters of our craft, we had to be pretty darned crafty. This spirit is at the heart of everything we do—and in every drop we brew.

This was poured into a stemmed pilsener.
The appearance was a transparent orange to brown color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated and left barely any lacing.
The smell had a rich caramel sweet maltiness about it.
The taste was moderately sweet with a light soapy flavoring in it. The aftertaste had the soapy arrangement to it with a watery finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionable quality about it. The carbonation is super light.
Overall, I say this was an okay Vienna lager. I’d rather have a regular Sam Adams first.

500ml can. Slightly hazy copper-brown body. Steady, foamy white/off-white head. Slow rising carbonation bubbles. Kind of one-dimensional dull sweet aroma, not so impressive. Bland medium dark brown malt, the honey smooths it out even more. Macro lager tones. Pretty boring, but drinkable, honey brown ale.

Bottle from their Seasonal Selections mixed pack for Christmas 2014. Pours a clean amber colour with a small warm cap that does not last at all. Sweet malty nose with hints of honey. The taste is milder with again, a little sweetness, and even notes of coconut. Wet, sparkling with a light dry finish. The oak in here is more on the coconut-side than vanilla, so more fake and not even powerful. The St-Ambroise version that came out around the same time is much, much better.

1/3 pint, keg at Mother Kelly’s Bottle & Tap Room, Bethnal Green. A tiny layer at the top of a clear amber coloured body. Fragile lacing. Moderate smell of pale and brown malts. Taste of mild honeyed caramel and nuts followed by herbal hops to the finish. Soft carbonated. Quite nice as a lager beer (London 26.09.2014).
