Description
We’ve always relied on our wits to give us an edge. We tried things others wouldn’t and refused to let being smaller keep us from thinking big. To become masters of our craft, we had to be pretty darned crafty. This spirit is at the heart of everything we do—and in every drop we brew.

nice red body, fruity aroma. very small head, ok, i’m, scpetical, the head dissepeared in about 10 seconds. Flavour falls flat on its face, lifeless, and wattered down.

nice sweet nose, some fruit. great sweet/malty/bitter finish. On tap this beer is wonderful, in a bottle, leaves alot to be desired.

Old rating from 2016 - 341ml bottle brought back from Canada by friends, pours caramel with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of smoked wood, bacon, caramel, grain, corn, hints of fruit & sweet malt. Moderate body. Slight dry finish

I have a 710 ml can found at a convenience store in downtown Montreal back in September. A side note, RateBeer appears to be a goner so I'm trying to get ratings done in my preferred styles and that includes malt liquors so here I go with Black Bull. The can is properly attired in the best paper available before I lift the tab. The general beer/malt liquor smell with grain and perhaps a bit of citrus. I give the brew some credit with my first taste, it is similar to OE 800. Sweet corn, water, candy, a touch of vanilla, bread and maybe some lemon. All this wrapped around 10%, 8 Ball should be so styled. Plenty to appreciate in this sampling including some wide ranging nostalgia.

An friend of mine takes this beer for me from his vacation in Canada. Sweet bitter tasting Lager with an nice drup of honey. Old paper ratings before Ratebeer, so why not rate them in hindsight.
