500ml bottle from Tesco, Billingham. Sparkling, golden colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, caramel, sulphur hint. Taste is sweetish and tangy, appley, fleshy, some core, with a caramel note, alittle tartness and bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Crowler thanks to Thijs. Dark golden with soft pink hue, no head. Sweet apple, soft raspberry, oak, leather, sweet apple pie, woody, a hint of citrus zest, light rose. Medium sweet, light sour. Medium bodied, under medium dry, flat. Quite OK, not very complex but very drinkeable.

Clear 500ml bottle, pale urine colour, white head for a second or two. Semi-sweet pear juice, struggled to finish it and offered it round, but got no takers!

Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts of all places. Clear gold, brief white fizz. Aroma of the aged oak wood comes through most strongly. Apples come through quite tangy with dry skin notes. Taste showcases the fruitiness of the apple better, wood and vanilla are there, quite tangy and drying in the finish with a slight alcohol warmth going down. Decent.

Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts! Clear gold, no head. Aroma of sweet slightly funky apple juice, some vanilla, Taste of ripe apple juice, funk, apple skins, vanilla, semi-drying and bitter in the finish. Nice balance to this with reasonable character. Lovely smooth mouthfeel. Nice cider, enjoyable.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Pours a pinkish-red, brief fizz. Aroma of fruity if slightly confectionary raspberry and sugars, some background apple skins. Taste of sweet raspberry with sour notes, apple skins, icing sugars. Mouthfeel has a sugar-syrup smoothness. Its ok, just too sugary.

500ml bottle. Pale cloudy light yellow with no head. Tart apple and light funk aroma. Taste is a tart and sour apple juice with some barnyard woody notes and caramel. Light bodied, oily mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Its a touch on the sour side for me.
