Tap. Slight hazy golden with big white head. Light sweet malts with some lemon and spicy yeast. Dry herbal touch with faint yoghurt. Seems a bit musty/old.

300ml poured from tap outdoor seating at the brewpub. Served as just Lanterne Ambrée with 5.2 % abv. A fair beige head gradually reduced to a patchy, lacing-layer. Hazy amber-red body colour. Brown malty nose, semi-sweet. Flavours of caramel malts and almond. Mid-sweet ending. Soft on the swallow. Medium bodied. Likable without greater enthusiasm (Strasbourg 26.07.2014).

Draught, 300ml at the brewpub as Blanche, 5.6 % abv A wheat haze to a yellow-gold coloured body. Just a ring of small bubbles to the rim of the surface. Dotted spots to the glassware. Wheat and yeasty fruitiness on the nose. Wheat, pears and tart fruity flavours. Dominated tartness to the ending. Not than well balances, about drinkable though (Strasbourg, 26.07.2014).
