Black, tan head. Bitter choc, roasted malt and sweet licorice aroma, sweet coffee too. Sweet flavour, choc, roasted malt, some licorice and bitter hops. Maybe a whiff of smoke in the finish.

Bottle split at the 2nd CBJ tasting, thanks to Kenny, 31/08/23. Murky amber with a beige cap that thins edgewards. Nose is caramel, stewed fruits, bourbon, dark malts. Taste comprises creme brulee, melted brown sugar, toffee, spice, booze, bourbon. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Tidy.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Ken. Pours unclear red-gold with a small, foamy off-white head. Medium sweet flavour, lots of semi-dark fruits, booze, old wood. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, old wood, dried berries.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 11 Apr 2023) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of citrus, lemon peel, sourdough bread and coriander. Fruity, tart taste with lemon, lime, bread, hay, coriander and a slightly salty finish with low bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Very nice.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 2 Apr 2023) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with lemon, grass and tropical fruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of lemon, lime, grapefruit, biscuits and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and refreshing, with a good citric hop presence. Nice one.

Barwa złota, zamglone, piana biała, średnio obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie cytrusy. W smaku półwytrawne, cytrusy, lekkie zboże, nuty jakby pomidora. Goryczka do średniej, wysycenie niskie, ciało w normie. Nieco wadliwe i trochę za mało west coastowe.

Barwa żółta, zmętnione, piana biała, dość obfita, dość trwała. W aromacie cytrusy, białe owoce, nieco iglaków. W smaku półwytrawne, sporo grejpfruta, w tym białego, melon, może lekka nafta i nuty iglaste. Goryczka średnia z lekkim plusem, wysycenie i ciało w normie. Bardzo dobre.
