(Draft at Joran Cidrothèque, Brussels, 20 Sep 2025) Pale golden colour with big, but brief, white head. Fruity nose with pears, apples, grass and citrus. Fruity, tart taste with notes of pears, green apples, grass, citrus and a dry finish with a generous acidity. Medium body, dry. Clean, crisp and elegant. Very nice.

Pricey bottle from Press online. Decent discount that pays for the shipping, I guess. Sat in the fridge a long while. Lo-ball at home.

Half hazy, mellow pale gold, strong initial lathery head that crashes like soda.
Earthy, honey, apple sauce, pineapple, slightly vinous nose.
Taste is bittersharp & slightly floral. Soft but tart pineapple, Viognier, citrus squeeze, calcium, very minimal funk, earthy dry finish, lingering honey.
The wife thinks it's pleasantly sweet, honey-ish with a champagne-y fizz. Bordelet quality with better attributes.
Sophisticated mouthfeel. Ample & persistant soft bubbles, stone, leathery pear skin, bit of a sulfite-y feel.

Really great. Should have planned to share this. Ended up giving a glass to my wife for some unapologetic notes.

Fizzy, dry (very), fruit peel, tannines, wood, very light texture, light taste, sour flavours not as sweet as most perries. Not that fond of this one

750mL bottle. Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has nice dry wood, barnyard funk, and gentle pear. Flavour has great barnyard funk, sweet pear, efferevescent. Really nice barnyard funk and champagne-like carbonation with the sweet pear flavours.

Pale, with a slight haze. The aroma has a nice pear character with some sugars to it. On the palate, the pear is complex, the residual sugars really balance it well, the effervescence lending a touch of dryness. This is really put together well. I don't necessarily know how to review perry, but I'm enjoying this.

750mL bottle, pours a clear blonde with a large, quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma is wonderfully funky, with lots of fragrant, dry pear skins, some hay. Flavour is moderately funky, with low-to-medium residual sweetness, a bit of pear core, and a real nice champagne-like effervescence. The sweetness that does exist is overshadowed by the funk and effervescence. Everything works cohesively and is reasonably complex. Excellent.
