First Mikkeller beers seen in Australia for a while and they're brewed across the Tasman. Just labelled "Forest Friends WCIPA". Clear orange with a good cm of white head. Modest citrus rind and cracker aroma with some tropical and pine notes. Thinish and moderately sweet with crackers and straw before citrus and lolly-like tropical & pine notes before a snappy enough bitter finish. A bit anonymous.

Keg at Mikkeller in Tórshavn - Jet black body, thick tan head. Lots of sweetness and silkiness here, big chocolate and jammy fruits hit, real oily mouthfeel, and you can feel the ABV as soon as it hits your tongue. Lush.

Can 330ml @ home. Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape, pine and zest. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with a long slightly dry, zesty, grapefruit and piney finish. Body is light, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

deep dark, almost black colour, one inch of dense brown head; aroma of heavy roasted coffee, some dairy cream, cocoa powder, ash, slight unripe pear and vanilla notes, taste is quite similar to the aroma with intensive burnt nutty notes; really good one
