(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, dark amber with a creamy, almost yellowish head. Hoppy, fruity and rather complex aroma. Full-bodied with some caramel and great notes of grape fruit from the Amarillo. The finish is not overly bitter, but surprisingly the alcohol really shines through. A lovely beer. 130406

Bottled. Cloudy reddish brown, rich head. Extremely intereseting aroma of grapefruit and red berries. Medium sweet with fairly soft mouthfeel. Lightly salty with plenty of red grapefruit. Very interesing hop character and more balanced than the Centennial IPA. Mindblowing!

Bottled. Cloudy golden, enormus lively head. Pineapple aroma. Sweet and fruity with rich marmelady character. Very obvious Belgian style yeast character with evident alcohol on top of it. Still dominated by sevile oranges, as in Old English marmelade. I’d like to see it less sweet, as it is now the sweetness gains the upper hand and kills of the more subtle flavours.

Bottled. Hazy nut brown, rich head. Striking lychee aroma with a major "oomphh". Sweet with soft, rounded mouthfeel. Extremely hoppy: the flavour leans towards sweaty, grassy lychee. Very bitter finish with notes of espresso. One of the better IPAs I’ve had!

Bottled. Very black, brown head. Concentrated coffee aroma. Dryish, soft and rounded. The mouthfeel and relatice dryness makes it very drinkable despites it’s near full body. Very roasty, dark chocolate is evident and there are notes of tobacco. Most dryish very roasty beers gets a metallic edge, but this has non of that. Instead it finishes with lots of espresso-like lare bitterness. Very well made. Justifies it’s high rating.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Bottled. Cloudy reddish brown, rich creqamy head. Strong orangey nose. Medium sweet with soft mouthfeel and firm body. Contrary to the Simcoe IPA and Centennial IPA the hops allow for the malt character to shine through with it’s butterscotch and caramel. Alcohol plays a non-neglectable part, and the finish is less overwhelming than in the other two IPAs I just had from Mikkeller. Orange zest dominates the finish.
