Cloudy chestnut, creamy tanned head. Big fresh hoppy aroma. Green hoppy flavor as well. Medium body, grassy herbal aftertaste. A big beer indeed - very nice.

Bottled. (#2) Bronze-colored and slightly hazy. Beige, huge head. Lovely aroma that reminds me more of an IIPA than of a BW, with it’s fruity american hops. Flavor is quite intense hoppy, but also fruity and citric. Astringent, long bitter finish. (051104)

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy, dark amber with a small, creamy head. But it’s the aroma, that really makes this beer stand out. Wauw, a fantastic aroma of peach, apricot and perhaps also a citrusy touch. The body is not overly full considering the alcohol. Lightly sweet flavours of caramel malt, but it’s the fantastic Chinook hops that completely dominate this brew and also leave a considerable bitterness. 011205

[This beer celebrates my 600th Danish beer - and I well think it is worth celebration with] A hazy amber beer with with a dense light orange head. The aroma is lovely sweet with strong notes of caramel and grapefruit - a real typical Cascade aroma. The flavor is also lovely sweet with strong notes of caramel and Cascade giving it notes of grapefruit and oranges. The end is only slightly bitter. The body is strong and slightly sticky. I just love Cascade.

Fully hazy (end of bottle), orange with olive shine. Again a dry hopsacks’ nose, grapey, preserved oranges. Sweet, cakey taste, with a dash of (good) USA hopse, bit of pineapple flavour. No harsh bitterness hire. Slick MF, well-bodied, not very carbonated I think. Better IPA than the Palisade, but here one would nearly like some MORE citrussy hops. Of course, having the end of the bottle, it was quite creamy, more than usual. Hip hip for the brother of the Bierkönig.

Hazy orange-amber; small yellowish head. Extremely grapey nose of USA hops, fully perfumey, one smells the vines. Dry, but sweeet taste all the same, bit of juniper, and walnut peel at the very end. Smooth, creamy, and of course full-bodied. Starts great, but the finish - well, there doesn’t seem to be a finish, it ends a tad harsh - like an unfinished symphony in hops minor.

Hazy brown to amber; small yellowish head. Great dry American hopsnose, grapey, super like the best I²PA’s. Sweet, cake-y first impression going on to dry hoppy, light-bitter taste, great balance. Very full-bodied, but it appears lighter by the dryness/hoppiness. Ends smooth-velvety. Great BW, though it is as much Double IPA as Barley Wine.

White, creamy body. Muddy orange body. Tiny particles. Nose of citrus, pears and plums. Lighty sweet, lightly btiter initial flavour. Lightly bitter finish (averagily long). Lightly bodied and quite flat.

Muddy orange body. Off-white head. Quite disappointing weak arom, but I found hints of sweet malts, orange, lemon, grapes. Woow, wht a bitter flavour. Harshly bitter in the beginning and somewhat milder, but stil heavily bitter in the end. The finish lasts very long. Medium to fully bodied. Unless, it’s quite undimensional, it’s very nice and the alcohol and bitterness are very nice combinated..

Creamy, off-white head, which diminishes mostly. Muddy, deep amber body. Intense aroma of flowers, liquor and alcohol, maybe a little bit too intense. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Lightly sweet, heavily bitter, long finish. Fully bodied, soft carbonation. The finish is quite weird in contrast to the initial flavour. The initial flavour is good, but then suddenly a flavour-bomb explodes and attacks your tastebuds. Nice and very interesting.
