Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a small, white head. Clean malt aroma and some dusty hops. Medium body, clean, sweet malts with sufficient, balancing bitterness. A lovely well brewed and balanced Helles. 010920

Stiftung Hell, Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase sortentypisch mildes weißbrotiges helles Malz, etwas zu vanillig-süß, leichte Andeutungen von kräuterigem Hopfen. - Antrunk mild und eintönig hellmalzig-süßsauer mit blasser Zitrusfrucht, Pappe und äußerst knapper, schwach kräuteriger Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang ranzig bei äußerst sparsamer Herbe. Übel ranziger Nachtrunk. - Banales Helles mit etwas fetterem Malzkörper aber ohne jeden Pep. (11.2.2020.)

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear pale golden pour, two finger soapy white head, short lasting. Minimal lacing on the glass. Sweet malty nose, grassy notes in the background. Thin body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, goes down quite nicely. Mild bittersweet taste. Aroma is quite basic but works rather nicely. Lager malt, pronounced grainy notes, grassy background. Mild herbal spiciness, some dusty notes. Subtle hop bitterness towards the finish. Simple and enjoyable.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for sharing! Smooth grainy beginning. Lots of grain and a neutral bitterness. Malt, caramel and neutral grain. Not too deep.

Shared with Erzengel! A clear deep golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild sweet grainy malt, straw and cardboard. Taste of straw, grains, caramelized malt.

Bottle from the local Rewe. Gold with a foamy to frothy white head. Quite grainy aroma with herbal, grassy undertones. Taste is mildly bitter, grainy, full of biscuits. Medium body, a touch clingy. Drinkable but not my style.
